Casual Café Team Leader

Come and join the BIG4 Easts Beach Team as a Café Team Leader!

At BIG4 Easts Beach Holiday Park in Kiama, we've been creating memorable holiday experiences for over 90 years. As a family owned and operated business, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent service in a beautiful coastal location. We are currently seeking a Casual Café Team Leader to join our dedicated team to help manage the Breakaway Café in our busy 500 site holiday park.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising a Shift - Run a shift alone or working with up to 4 people.
• Preparing a Range of Hot & Cold Beverages
• Preparing & Cooking Food Items - Food items such as hamburgers, fried foods, sandwiches according to customer orders.
• Assist in Training of New Staff Members
• Opening & Closing of the Cafe
• Cash Handling and Reconciliation of Takings
• High Standards - Ensure all tasks are performed efficiently, thoroughly and to high company standards.
• Customer Focused - Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with guests, ensuring excellent service and a positive experience.
• Health & Safety - Adhere to Food Safety and Work Health & Safety procedures and follow safe work practices.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience - Supervisory, barista & cooking experience is preferred but not essential - we will provide all the training you need.
• Communication - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical Capabilities - Must be physically fit - able to lift, bend, reach and stand for extended periods of time.
• Personal Attributes - Positive attitude with a strong work ethic. High attention to detail taking pride in your work. Reliable, trustworthy and punctual. A supportive team player who thrives under pressure.
• Drivers License is a must - Own reliable transportation required as public transport options are limited in the area.

Work Schedule:

• 16 - 32 hours per weeks, Friday to Monday, 8hr days
• Strong availability for Weekends, Public Holidays and School Holiday Periods.
• The number of shifts per week varies, with 2 shifts/week from May to September and 3-4 shifts/week from October to April.
• Potential for more shifts/days for the right applicant.
• Earliest start time 7.30am and latest finish time 10pm.
